About the calendar project.
We’re highlighting mothers who lead the work to build healthy and sustainable communities.
By purchasing a calendar you put more resources to volunteer-led community monitoring efforts.
-
We're a team of passionate volunteers who do deep place based and relationship centered work. We work to stop Line 5, prevent human trafficking, and foster our neighbor’s connection to the land and water.

Each model was photographed outdoors at a location in Michigan, with looks curated to highlight the states seasonality and the model’s personality.
-
Our goal is to use a sense of cheeky playfulness to spark actions to shut down Line 5.
Proceeds from this project support the Great Lakes Water Protector Network, who partners with local Tribes, regional coalitions, and other strategic partners to resist Line 5. In particular, these resources will support community led education work and pipeline monitoring efforts.

Women often go unrecognized, even when leading impactful work to make a positive difference in the world. And mothers often go unrecognized for their big role helping raise the next generation.
We take an inclusive view of mothers and feature biological mothers and grandmothers, genderqueer mothers, adopted mothers, and “chosen family” mothers. We hope to feature more two-spirit, G.N.C. and Trans mothers in future editions.
